150 poison resist is big. Poison resist was a great option for PA anyway due to it realistically being one of the few things that can kill you. Now you'll have the option to get cryo and flame resist pieces and still have room for powered pieces. I think it's a shame that this sort of power creep happens without tweaking the older sets. Personally, I think ALL PA suits should have some sort of unique benefit for a full suit.

Union Power Armor Plans now cost 800 Stamps per piece, which is absolutely ridiculous. The Jetpack costs 1, 000 Stamps. You get like 10 Stamps per Expedition at most. 1/4 of that price (200 per piece) would be a lot more reasonable. Good luck to anyone trying to grind for the full set now.

"HUD, " stands for "heads up display". The U.S. military and probably others, use this tech in the cockpit of fighter jets. It makes targeting the enemy very easy by highlighting them. A very cool addition to our power armor. Would love to see the price come down on the jet pack. Turtle, thanks for all you do for all of us vault dwellers.👍😎👍

I'm...pleasantly surprised by the changes to the Union PA. The Poison resistance means players can use it and not worry about having to equip Funky Duds, and they've made it so it's not a massively Overpowered PA, rendering the other PAs irrelevant. Diversity in what different Power Armor types can do is great. Means you have variety and choice, and it's not all strictly a case of 'Does this one give you the most DR for your buck?' equation.

This is exciting. Something worthwhile to grind for. I only run Excavaytchor PA, so this looks like a worthy replacement - except when farming for raw elements I assume. I hope there will be commie paint available - I need my red star torso, and I don't like the basic arm/shoulder design either. I pronounce "HUD" like "MUD" or "DUD".

The Excavator power armor is good enough for almost any PvE situation. I've been trying to get good legendary rolls on a set of HC power armor. No luck so far. I'm tempted to focus on the new Union set when it comes out.

I just rolled an over eaters, weapon weight reduction, poison resistance hellcat chest piece the other day so I think I’ll stick with my hellcat set over this and save the grind.

finally a second excavator, im currently saving up my modules and scrip to be able to craft atleast a couple OE pieces for it. i already planned it to be my main PA even though the stamp grind will be cruel

I dusted off my original character I abandoned a few levels in and turned it into a strictly PA build. The ONLY reason I went down this road is the video Mr. Turtle did on how to recharge power cores. The strongest set I have found is specific to the enemy. Doesn't matter what it is. Raider/T45. As long as it has the one star for the enemy in a full set, I find I am invincible. The double XP this week has been super handy ranking up that character.

Getting a 20% WWR isn't the end of the world, might take a while, but doable. Having all 5 pieces with Overeater's on top of that is going to be the worst grind ever. At least you can put a jetpack on it legitimately... it's going to be a very very long while until I will exit my overeater's excavator :( yet with Union PA I can drop funky duds and get an extra 5 points - maybe get back tenderizer (right now i need my party perk for that +15 to perception and get those sweet plasma caster headshots :) - here's an idea, do you know if Tenderizer was modified in any way, maybe back to the 40% dmg increase while using shotguns ?

I've got to agree, even without the carry weight. Poison is the only thing that can reliably kill a PA user.

Been running Strangler PA because I just like Ultracite PA, but the mods are hard to come by, and the poison damage isn't anything that actually helps. The aura was nice for lazily tagging enemies, but now that's not something you have to worry about anymore, what with the past few updates removing the need to tag enemies so much.

Union PA has extra carry weight, better defense than Excavator PA, AND poison resistance, something I don't really have any defense against. The mods are easy to get (a little bit grindy but not as bad as gold it seems) and I just love the way it looks. I guess it's time for me to increase my quality of life and stop running around at almost full carry weight.

Does *not* rhyme with wood, could, stood, nor with brood.

HUD Stands for "Heads Up Display."

Thanks for the video Angry Turtle! I am grinding for it but not convinced it will replace my PSA Ultracite PA with a Jetpack Left arm piece. 😂 Looks cool though! Almost like old school Robotech mech.

Got all but the jet. I've been debating between using bullion for t65 or hellcat like everyone else does, but I think this union will be my go to. Resistance is high and the extra carry weight is nice

Nah, I'm good. I don't need extra carry weight. The poison resistance is interesting though. It might allow me to drop funky duds and have a different legendary perk. The problem is that rolling a full set of overeaters would take so long that I just won't bother with it and stick to my hellcat.

They really need different PA Arm mods I rarely equip them since none seem useful.... Now if there was say an Enhanced Relays mod or something similar that decreased fusion core drain while sprinting or using VATS that would be useful to me as that is my big complaint with VATs in PA (a Pipboy can keep your VATs up far longer than any PA suit with a Fusion core?)
