Built this in survival. Loved the design and the tutorial is amazing. Although I shouted every single curse word in the dictionary when you made me, once again, completely take down an entire wall that took me a couple minutes to put up.

I loved the house. I built it myself!
Though I do hate that I stripped down a whole lot of Spruce Logs, only to see in the tutorial that I can remove a bunch of them again. I'm happy with the result. Just wished the outline and stuff (of the little extensions) were already placed down to begin with.

Step one: Build a wall
Step two: Remove the entire wall 😂

Love that you showed us step by step, instead of the pause sections. For the smaller builds I like it this way.

did this in survival, needless to say the roof and getting all the wood were painful. great build!

beautiful house, everything is great... even the details, but I hope I'm not the only one who stopped at how those stairs look. 😂😂

I can’t even imagine coming here to complain but here some of you are. Anyway, just completed in survival. About 4-5 hours total. The time consuming part for me was digging down to get all the deep slate I needed. Once I completed I did go in and change some things. The fireplace for instance and some other cosmetic things. Thank you!

Thank you for being better than other tutorial guides that just show what to do from a third person prospective. This helps so much actually seeing what you are doing. It’s much harder to mess up. Thank you.

Here's a little building tip for the floor: since light can phase through slabs, you can light up your floor by digging one block under the floor, fill that layer with a block that makes light (glowstone, frog lights, ect.) then put the slabs on the higher half of the block layer where you want the floor. That way it'll look like normal blocks, but they're fully lit.

This hack *does* only work for the ground floor, but still a good building technique.

I see I am not the only one who hated the fact that he filled all the walls first and then made the hole for the windows and entrance. Don't get me wrong the house is amazing and all.. but who else started to build it seeing the layout at the start and saying to themselves: "will be tight but it'll fit" to then arrive at the point in the video where he decide to add some "extension" to the house that make you say just there: "wait, that wasn't in the starting layout already? Well I'm screwed as I built it on the side of a mountain and now I need thousands of stone blocks to make it looks natural.." I already imagine this being annoying in creative, I don't even dare to imagine what it is in survival..

P.S.: I'm kidding there, I totally know how frustrating it is in survival.. well, at the end of that experience all I can say is: "it made a really nice fire"

I’ve been looking for a cabin lately. This one is perfect in size and look. All the others I’ve seen lately are too damn small, like a shack, not a cabin. This definitely fits the bill, gonna build this today in my survival world.

I'm not really a Minecraft expert or anything, pretty new-ish and not knowing much, but this was good to follow. Took me the best half of today but I did it! Excited to show my dad lol Thanks for the help!

Did this on my survival world, all in took about 6 hours gathering and building with maxed enchanted tools and bonemeal! Awesome build though I did add some fireplaces and upside down stone brick status on the top of the chimney for a bit of extra detail! Thanks!
