Is MORE Power Enough To Make The Triumph Tiger 900 the BEST?

Показать описание
Triumph’s Tiger 900 is an inline-triple powered middleweight adventure motorcycle that competes with BMW’s F 900 GS and KTM’s 890 Adventure. For 2024, Triumph has increased peak horsepower from 93.7 to 106.5—a 13 percent improvement. Is that for it to move to the head of the class? We rode Tiger 900 GT Pro and Tiger 900 Rally Pro in Southern Spain to find out.

The 2023 was never lacking power. 70-80-95 MPH the usual of what Riders do on the road was always there.
I should know, I have a 900 GT-Pro, and it’s probably the best “Goldilocks Motorcycle” in that it does Everything well.
I’m not a Dirt guy, so it’s never been dirty, but a a comfortable Touring Bike, with every option imaginable, no issue at all, Great Bike. 👍🇬🇧

I just purchased a Tiger 900 Aragon Edition, and it is the best bike I have ever owned so far. This is the first ADV style bike that fits me in the low seat position with any other suspension changes!

Hi. You have had a test ride on the moto guzzi stelvio. Would you try to compare somehow the guzzi with the tiger 900gt pro. These are two models I will probably choose between. Thank you 😊

The tiger already blew the BMW F850GS out of the water when it came to power. That was never in question.

Does it come with a stick to pry mud out from between the wheel and the front fender? i know its not a dirt bike and Im just looking at an image maybe my paranoia having taken road bikes where they don't belong and looking for a stick.

I bought a new Triumph Tiger 800XC in 2013 because it was also beating BMW.

I should have bought anything else. The bike was a parade of "known issues", the dealer couldn't care less and neither could Triumph. I won't make that mistake again.

Like to see a test between this and 890 and the F900GS

Hi i always wondered about Triumph putting a 19 inch front wheel on the front of what is esentially
a road going motorcycle in the 900 gt pro, most people talk about the stearing being slow, with a 19 inch front its kinda obvious .

13% more but from Triumph's published chart, it's still heaped up right at the very top end where I don't go on this bike. The valve clearance interval (major service) has been increased to 18, 000 miles. The new dash is a welcome relief coz the current horizontal tacho design is just plain stupid.

I think the main competitor is the Honda Africa Twin.. roughly the same price and power range

93.7 is slightly less than my old Triumph Sprint 900. But 106.5 is nothing to write home about.

Pushing on the Rally Pro is the front wheel and geometry, not the road LoL

Power was the never the problem. It was heavier than the KTM, more twitchy than most in the class off-rad due to the lower rake, and had those stupid electronics that didn't remember your settings when you turned the bike off, and couldn't be changed on the fly.

Make me a F900XR competitor Triumph. Your own Tiger 660 is purposely dumbed down by your marketing it without cruise control, so maybe go with a road going 900 machine. Adventure patterned bikes are done to death…

The cast aluminium wheels are completely wrong on a bike like this.. It should be spoked rims.. !

Except the Tracer 9 GT is a ton less $ and is a better motorcycle overall. Also, the Yamaha is made in Japan so it won’t break down on you like the fake Triumph will.
