The problem I am having is that once I cut the videos to the length I want, when I hit sound sync it changes the length, and if I hit default it keeps them original length and ignores the cuts I made

Is there any benefits to recording with the camera app and not TikTok itself. The editing features are still available to you if you use TikTok to film as well. I’ve noticed TikTok tends to push my videos more if I use TikTok to film and edit. Any videos I create using third party filming and editing software don’t get nearly as much reach as the others.
