Thank you😊❤️I love this type of video because I find them so calming to my soul. Recently, I’ve started preferring content like project pan, deinfluencing, and conscious consumption over constant reviews of new products. The market already offers everything we could possibly need. We’re often manipulated into staying in a constant cycle of buying, but in reality, it’s much more important to develop a personal style, find a comfort zone, and focus on what truly resonates with our lifestyles. This helps us understand what we actually need. That’s why I tend to value reviews of products that have been used and loved over time far more than just first impressions.

For example, last week, I depotted all my eyeshadows and arranged them in a magnetic palette. Now I can clearly see that I already have all the shades I need, so there’s no temptation to buy more eyeshadows this year. In the future, I’ve decided to purchase only single eyeshadows in specific shades I need, rather than buying a palette and leaving some colors unused

I’m on my 4th tube of the Erborian CC red correct cream, I barely wear foundation anymore — just apply a light layer of the CC cream, patting it in with my fingers to even out my redness/post-acne hyperpigmentation, then go in with the Glossier stretch concealer to specifically spot conceal. I’ve also gone through 15+ tubes of the Heroine make Long & curl waterproof mascara, and have managed to hit pan on almost 2 shades within my Hourglass ambient lighting palette (the highlighters completely done now and I’ve nearly finished one of the blush shades). Like you said this happens quite naturally just because I get stressed out if I have too much makeup sitting around that I’m not using😭 so I only buy makeup very occasionally and after testing out multiple formulas first, watching various review channels, comparing the product I’m interested in to competitor releases and then settling on just one shade in one particular formula

I also don’t like project pan, because I like to use variety of things I bought ! Instead I like the “shop my stash” each week! It’s fun to plan out my make up, it’s like.. meal prep, but for my face haha😂

Things I did pan/use up this year though 1) Laura mercier chai blush 2) ysl eyeshadow quad 600 3) benefit dual end brow pencil 4) cle de peau correcting veil 5) bobbi brown face base 6) Clarins lip oil balm 7) like 10 tubs of elf cleansing balm 😅 8) shiseido gel microliner

And skincare 1) clarin double serum light texture 2) origins mushroom toner 3) neutrogena hydro boost moisturizer

Gosh as I finish typing this I’m also just reflecting on how I dont need two full drawers of make up, these are just stuff I repurchase and love why do I have so much stuff 😂😂😂

My most used beauty products are the Colourpop setting spray because I use it between every step of my makeup pretty much, Clinique High Impact mascara because it doesn't irritate my eyes like a lot of products do (I get the minis when I can free with purchase), and the ELF putty primer (I don't use it as a primer but I do use it to erase makeup that went awry to redo it)

Edit: To add to the Charlotte Tilbury love, their Airbrush Flawless Powders are AHMMMMAZING especially under the eyes!! I got the Huda Beauty Peach Color Corrector rec from you and I have been using it with GRWM cosmetics concealer in Sienna with CT Airbrush Flawless powder in Medium.... when I tell you that it awakens me, girl, it really awakens me and my face almost as if I slept a good 10 hours (which at this point I almost never do)

I love an oil cleanser, but I find it can’t get into the edges of my hair! So I oil cleanse, regular cleanser, and then micellar water to get better around my hairline! It’s a lot but man, I get a lot less acne!!

I actually managed to hit pan on a blush this year! it’s a colourpop super shock blush that I got back in March (though I think those blushes are being discontinued, unfortunately bc I really like it). it’s definitely bc I wear way too much blush, but still I was excited!
