This is probably gonna sound dumb but when I open the link to replit, theres a window on the top right that needs me to run a command and I dont know what to enter because clearly I cant compile anything without fixing it first. Please assist

One question, how did python know what the list was? In othwr words how did python know what 012345678 was? I dont see any reference to it in your code unless its the 2nd cell.
