I just published my first novel last night on KDP. The KDP select program interests me a bit because I can attempt to get a wider audience. I started self-publishing on KDP mid-February 2020. At first, I did a few no-content books because they take little time to produce, and I wanted to familiarize myself with the process. However, recently I have started working on more complex projects ( low-content books). Although it takes me a lot more time to produce these books, they are much more satisfying (from a creative point of view), and they get approved faster (my no-content books took 7 days to approve, while my latest low-content book took less than 24 hours to approve). I am doing this because I need a creative outlet, and the extra money would be nice. Considering I am also working a full-time job, for now, I am going to stick to KDP.

Thank you for the video. I finished writing a 125, 000 word science fiction novel (Roswell 1947), and was trying to figure out the best avenue to publish my book. After doing some research I came to the conclusion that kindle direct publishing would be best for me, as this is my first novel. Anyways, this was a very informative video man, and hopefully you will see my book published near the end of January 2021!
