Im going to try this one. I usually use a Uni to snell my circle hooks. Its always good to know different methods.

1) great demo, for people that are visual learners esp.
2) love the chartreuse line, been using it lately and even though it's visible to me, doesn't seem to be too the fish.
3) knots make so much sense when you think about how they work and where are points of tension.

I’ve always used this knot for cat fishing, as the hooks are larger and the fish could potentially be huge. I always thought it was just called a Snell knot though. IMO, a polymer knot is the strongest and most simplistic knot for most situations.

I've been using the UNI-KNOT for hooks and swivels for as long as I can remember!
I really like the simplicity and strength of this knot!
Looks pretty easy for Circle hooks, that's basically all I ever use for snook, tarpon, redfish, cobia, tripletail, Sharks, etc..

I do same without feeding tag through eye 2nd time instead I just lay the loop alongside shaft & proceed in same way. Is there any significant difference? Knot strength?

It looks so simple but my 75 year old arthritic fingers and that damn limber braid I can't tell where I'm at. Everybody on you tube uses stiff line and it looks like art. I really need this knot for flipping.
