Lyrics:
Words like violence
Break the silence
Come crashing in
Into my little world
Painful to me
Pierce right through me
Can't you understand
Oh my little girl
All I ever wanted
All I ever needed
Is here in my arms
Words are very unnecessary
They can only do harm
Vows are spoken
To be broken
Feelings are intense
Words are trivial
Pleasures remain
So does the pain
Words are meaningless
And forgettable
All I ever wanted
All I ever needed
Is here in my arms
Words are very unnecessary
They can only do harm
All I ever wanted
All I ever needed
Is here in my arms
Words are very unnecessary
They can only do harm
All I ever wanted
All I ever needed
Is here in my arms
Words are very unnecessary
They can only do harm

Imagine, you have a fun day at the beach, you get tired so you fall asleep in your chair. 4:21 you wake up in the middle of the woods with no memory whatsoever. You yell for your friends, thinking that its a prank. 4:43 you begin to feel like something is watching you. 4:56 you notice that it's getting closer. 5:15 it finally makes its presence known. 5:38 the camera pans towards the moon as you are never seen again.

Wow...this is _truly_ beautiful. I read the description and wanted to cry.
Dedicated to your mom... Was this a song she loved? 😢 May she Rest in Peace. 🌺

My mom died last year, too, at 71. I also lost my dad 3 years ago, he was only 61. And no matter how old we are, it's still very painful to lose a parent.
I've been putting together an 80s/90s playlist, including this one. They both loved these kinds of songs, and I grew up listening to them. I still do love to listen to them...but sometimes it can be _very_ painful because of the emotions and memories these beautiful songs can ignite into our hearts...which often feels broken, or a piece of it is now missing, because they're no longer here.

But these songs also bring back the nostalgia of what it was like hearing these songs when they were still alive. My dad loved to sing, and our favorite he'd sing together in the car with me was "Shine" by Collective Soul, back when I was about 7-years-old. I can't listen to it without tears in my eyes. "Heaven lets your light shine down..."
I can totally relate. Well done. And here's a digital hug. 🤗
I did make a dedication (RIP) video for my dad's passing...but I can't make one for my mom yet, because every time I try, I just can't stop crying. I think it'll get easier with time.
