Montana GOP Candidate Greg Gianforte Wins Election, Apologizes For Body Slam Incident

Republican multimillionaire Greg Gianforte, defeated Democrat Rob Quist and won Montana’s only U.S. House seat despite being charged a day earlier with assault for allegedly attacking a reporter from the Guardian.

Gianforte cruised to victory after weathering a political firestorm and owned up to his mistake and apologized last night as he thanked his supporters.
