also a reference to the movie Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. One of the main character's names is Clementine. The theme of memory erasing due to heartbreak is the plot of the film.

You know whats funny, this song refers to the classic song Clementine in a positive way, because he loved her and missed her, but in the last chorus of the song, it says "How I missed her how I missed her how I missed my Clementine. Till I kissed her little sister, I don't miss my Clementine."
But not many people know the whole song, only the first three parts and the chorus, so I I get it, but yeah... Great song though, amazing voice too. I'm glad I found this :)
