Hey Guys, Just a quick FYI. So I'm getting asked a lot " why didn't you sort out all the rust on the underside, suspension components, radiator brackets etc etc " well this is only the first stage of restoration, in this episode the car is "restored" to a roadworthy condition so that I can enjoy it guilt free through the spring summer and autumn months but come winter it will be getting "restored" to showroom condition. I hope this answers most of your questions and puts your fears at rest. Oh and as for the barrage of " why did you cover up the fog lights" Its a Subaru rally heritage thing that started with the original Impreza back in 1993 on the world rally stages.

This is something I wish I had the money for. A garage and a project car to rebuild.
The feeling to finally drive the car you worked so hard to restore must be incredible.

I absolutely love seeing old cars being brought back to life and rescued. Any guy can appreciate the process of taking something completely gone and bringing it back to life. Great video!!

One of the best videos I have watched, no annoying music, camera angles or someone screaming like they’ve had to many sweets. I think you have got the formula just about right thank you for the time and effort you must put in and the car is pretty good too

🔧🚗 Oh, the dream of having a garage and a project car to restore is definitely something many of us can relate to! It's incredible to witness the transformation of an abandoned Subaru WRX into a stunning machine through the restoration process. The dedication, skills, and love poured into these projects are truly inspiring. I can only imagine the sense of accomplishment and joy that comes with finally driving the car you've worked so hard to rebuild. It's a testament to the beauty of automotive craftsmanship and the satisfaction of bringing something back to life. Keep up the amazing work! 💪🔥

As someone living in Colorado, USA, I see these all the time, but I forget just how awesome they really are. This video made me fall in love with them all over again.

I am so glad you rescued this car. All pre-2008 Subarus need to be treated with love and kindness as they are the last of the good years. I wish I had my 2003 again, it was such a beautiful car to drive.

everything from camera angles, editing to pace of car upgrade is so perfect! showing the car being built w/o spending too long or not showing enough of it is hard! and you are nailing it!
aswell as shooting other videos for more detailed parts of the build, im in love!

I was wondering for weeks what all the Subaru parts were getting restored for, then a 45 minute episode of it all coming together absolutely first class once again mate 👍👍👍👍

Excellent restoration. Your attention to detail is first class, and the video very well made 👍🏻Looks like it was an excellent condition car to start with, can't believe it got broken for spares just because the turbo was shot.
