This game, man. The sheer amount of nods and easter eggs in it is astonishing, even by HAL’s standards. You can really see how much these people care about their fictional game series. I can’t get enough of outright acknowledgement of a long running series past, so this game was a gold mine for me. Really feels like the culmination of the whole Kirby series, given the final boss and returning characters.

For the people that are wondering what Halfmoon is, it’s a planet that you need to complete in Milky Way Wishes in Kirby Super Star/Ultra to progress in that mode.

How I know this because my first Kirby game was Kirby Superstar Ultra! I loved it so much!

It would’ve been nice to see the Robobot Armor just flying around in space, cuz remeber: after Kirby defeated Nova (again), the Robobot Armor pushed Kirby to his home planet, somehow, while it was as crying, as they move apart, the armor now flying into space, it would’ve been nice to see it after Susie made an official appearance in the game

You know I'd say this just shows how much love Hal has for Kirby and its past games, but honestly It hink they just have a great respect for the medium and other series.

In the Smash Ultimate the spirits and their battles reflect well the games and lore with them.
