sry i just saw this video i have fear of getting a gtx 1060 founders edition, i have a gtx 750ti, so one question did u remove the fan thats behind the alienware logo? or did the gtx 1060 fit well? i think people say its needed to remove the fan? also do u know if the alienware x51 r1 is still having problems with windows 10???

Will it fit in the x51 r2? And I need a 330 watt adapter, right? Mine came with a nvidea gtx GeForce 745. I have 6mb of ram and my processor is an intel i3-4150 at 3.5GHz

yes I just put a gtx 1050 ti sc in my Alienware X51 r1 But it is imperative you must update your bios or it will not work this card has no 6 pin power cord i have the 330 power break needed I run games in high to ultra like Fallout 4 50 fps, BF 1 in a mix of med to high, and on all high mech warier online 60 fps, this breathed life in my alienware I could not be happier

a frriend of my own bought a zotac gtx 1060 6 gb to upgade his alienware but he didnt knew that he had to upgrade the bios me neither so he decided to sell me his 1060 in 190 bucks :)
