i got so stressed the first time I picked up crocheting about a week ago that it made me cry ! but I found this tutorial and now I have just finished making the beanie, my first project ever!! you explain everything so well in a way that’s very easy to understand and I’m very grateful! now that I’ve picked it up, I think I could make many more from memory. thank you so much ! <3

I finished mine like 3 minutes ago and I'm shocked at how easy it was for my first crochet project! Your instructions were very clear and the yarn you chose for this tutorial was a very good choice because I could easily see each threads and loops. Thank you so much for that, now I'm pretty sure I'll try some other tutorials you made! :)

I was in college still when I first started knitting by teaching myself through videos like this. When I excitedly told my grandma about the hobby I had started on my own she told me how she used to crochet before I was born. When I was married my grandma gave me a whole knitting bag full of patterns, needles a few balls of very plush yarn and a full set of hooks. She said she wanted for us to teach each other. She wanted to learn to knit and she wanted to teach me to crochet like she taught my aunts. Not long after she had an accident and I didn't get to learn or teach before she passed. I am just learning the very basics of crochet now. This isn't my first video, but this will be a special one for me. This is the video where I am finally going to use those balls of yarn that she gave me a little over a year ago. I am going to buy some more of the same brand and color to make a full winter set with the yarn. Your video is the beanie. Then I will make a scarf and maybe some mittens.

Some ppl dont understand how many chains to do for the inches ones so heres a mini guide!
Every inch is 4 chains so for the first step u would need 60 chains!:) hope this helps

I’ve been trying to find a beanie tutorial and this one is probably the best and easiest one I could find for a crochet beginner like me! The instructions were so clear, can’t wait to make one ♡

I found this pattern and am very excited to try it out! My grandpa has been looking for hats since he started losing his hair with chemo and I wanted to make him something cozy.

i just finished making this! the hat itself took me 2 to 3 days of crocheting after work once i got the hang of it, and it took another 4 days for the yarn needle to arrive lol. i don't think i sewed it quite right but it's a hat and it looks pretty cute! i hope my dad likes it :) i love this tutorial

Will forever appreciate that you don’t use music and actually talk through the process in your videos 😅🥰 made one beanie of yours as my first ever project and want to do another one with some wool yarn (I have had trouble using wool in other projects so want something simple!) and this looks perfect!

I like the way that you closed the beanie at the top. I will definitely close all my future beanies this way to avoid the hole at the top. Thanks 😊
