Hard to believe they got Kylie from Australia over with no song ready and within 2 hrs they wrote this masterpiece of Pop music and recorded the entire song. That's how good Stock and Aitken really were. Also the song was in too low a key for Kylie's vocal to really shine and since the track was recorded before she got into the session he had her sing a parallel melody and then dropped it down to fit the track and the result is one of the very best Pop songs of that era and since The Beatles also. Don't be fooled by the bright and sugary feel of the track and the pretty video...this song is a masterpiece of popular music with beautiful melody and modulations that are so cleverly done.
