This song flipped a switch in my head. I had a hard time being okay with myself and what I enjoyed. I always figured I needed to fit a box. I felt bad for not wearing a specific dress to church, because I thought wearing pants would be bad. I knew I was saved, but I questioned my own loyalty to God on a regular basis. I was worried about being over or underweight, and I was worried about what other people thought. Then I heard this song in God's Not Dead. It just turned on a light bulb.

I had never even thought before that I could be okay being me and God would be okay with it too. I had heard others saying God made you the way you are, but something about the words "Live like someone died for you" just struck me in a really positive way.

Sometimes, I still get insecure and feel the need to fit a box. But I'm in a much mentally healthier spot now. Thank you, Superchick. Your song changed my life for the better.

Despite how this album was their last, this band is still a huge influence in my life. I've been a fan since I was a kid and I always find my way back to their music. It inspires me to keep going whenever life gets tough. I miss them, i'll always miss them but their music will always be with me.. And this album was a beautiful way to end their career as Superchick.

Whatever they're doing now, I hope they haven't lost the spark that made this band so unique and special.
