Viasit converts a traditional office floor into an open and collaborative space
Показать описание
A contemporary, well designed working environment is good for employees' motivation and creativity, making it an essential component of successful employer branding. Viasit has risen to this challenge and has completely redesigned a 400 m² office floor at its headquarters in Neunkirchen.
In a series of in-house workshops, Professor Eve Hartnack and Carsten Feil of Palma Kunkel architecture and design office, established the requirements and ideas of the employees so that they could then incorporate them into their design proposals.
Once the design and philosophy were, agreed the work began with the temporary relocation of the Company’s finance, internal and export sales teams and marketing teams to other parts of the building. The floor was completely gutted with only the central services block remaining.
The end result is stunning with the 4 teams now located in the corners of the large space: open to each other, but visually and acoustically divided. Areas that require more discretion are closed spaces with curtain wall glazing, doors and integrated storage, keeping them acoustically separate whilst maintaining visibility and remaining a part of the open space effect. The remaining open spaces are also “screened” with acoustic flooring, ceiling panels and movable curtains.
The central area of the space belongs to everyone collectively. This area can be a retreat, a quiet workspace, a collaborative area, and a meeting point where you can concentrate on work or talk without being disturbed, meet and greet visitors or colleagues for infomal meetings.
The solutions in work, rest and communication areas are– with a few exceptions – provided from Viasits own product portfolio, providing a clear demonstration of how our furniture can be used in daily worklife – a living showroom!
