I really loved this song. I could literally feel the lyrics and every word. This is where I'm at in my life right now and been going for 2 years now. Sometimes that line between the real reality and the reality of my mind seems to be so blurred that's these days is none existent and I'm almost to the point of questioning what's really real anymore and keep a constant feeling of being so lost. I don't feel like I can seem to properly communicate to others about the horrible dark place im in or how i feel if i don't figure out how to deal that it feels like it's going to be the death of me. The stress on my body mixed with my current health already isn't a good combo i know and i can feel how some of those conditions are faster progressing. So it feels like I'm slowly drowning as i go through yet another day of feeling the constant torcher of painfully sublingual through out the day using the last bit of life and energy i have left to do the bare minimum of daily functionality we have to do . I tend to drift off in a state of distachment more than i stay in the moment bc the level of trying to avoid even another ounce of pain that that copping mechanism is in overload and kicks in random like a glitch instead of when something actually going on that would normally rigger it. So thank you for a song with lyrics that is able to speak for those of us that stumble around trying to find the words to express some of the awful feeling and pain we have on a daily. I really felt something from this song on the deepest level. Look forward to here more from your music. Again thank you

Joe you never disappoint….. another song that touches my soul. Tears flowing, chills, feeling every word. Yes we work so hard to heal but the wounds will always be there they just get easier to deal with when they pop into my brain or thoughts. There will always be some days that I struggle not to numb the pain or stop the tears and hurt BUT we do recover. Thank you for helping me & so many others what a blessing to be part of your journey from day one of my recovery from heroin to 6 years next month. So much love & respect from Melbourne Australia. I love this song, I found it because I started following Spyda JC after he recoded I can’t breath and Flo Grown, I really like his style and music. When he sang Florida Strong is when I found this song. It reminds me of what most people exposed to the storm are going through… It can have so many reasons to why.
what does it feel like to be normal? What’s normal anymore?
People like yourself and Spyda has a message. Please keep expressing that. So many people Need to know that they are not alone and there is hope and help out there.

Man Joe your songs truly hit home with me, some of them honestly feel like my story. I'm dying of heart failure but you have helped to bring me peace and acceptance, every night I sing my 7 year old son to sleep and one of our songs is dear son... my son knows I'm dying we talk about it often and cry about it often.. I just want to thank you for that song because it's been a blessing and given us something he will be able to listen to later after I'm gone and he'll be able to feel me there with him...
