I believe this, because it makes sense to me. That God would allow the body of the mother of Our Lord and Savoir Jesus Christ, the dwelling place of the Word of God, the temple of the Holy Spirit, could be reduced to ruin seems illogical to me. My soul is filled with horror at the thought that this virginal flesh which had begotten God, which had brought Him into the world, had nourished and carried Him, could have been turned into ashes, or given over to be food for worms. Common sense tells me that Our Lady was exalted to a higher status than that. It seems fitting that her assumption into Heaven body and soul magnifies the Glory of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
