Unpopular opinion but I like how these look. It's a clean design with no excessive elements even if the back looks like a Volkswagen. Honda's hybrids play second fiddle to Toyota's but Honda's hybrids are still pretty good. The benefit of this over a Prius is that it doesn't scream "look at me being green!" It looks like a normal car. Honda said a few years ago that everything they make would be hybrid so I'm surprised they haven't started on that full transition. Unless you're not going to drive it enough for the hybrid to pay off why wouldn't you get the hybrid?
Imagine how this would look as a wagon. It's a shame crossovers took over.

Zack! I'm proud of you for getting to this point in your media career. Getting press cars from major brands is HUGE! And, this happens to be my favorite brand. Can't wait to see you drive all the cars in their lineup. You have a really down-to-earth nuanced approach to your reviews that nobody else seems to replicate. You aren't caught up in ultra expensive high-end cars, you are like the everyman's reviewer.

You also look cute in the cowboy hat.

I was also rolling laughing at the angelic choir part

I thought they were ugly online but they look great in person...especially the hybrid sports. Just purchased one and I'm happy with it

Great video, Zack. I've had my 2023 Honda Accord EX-L for about a month, and I'm loving it. I'm getting over 50 mpg in mixed driving. Can't beat that. I would also note that the ride quality of the new Accord improves dramatically from the 19" tires to the 17" tires.

People almost always complain about new generations. I remember how much people complained about the last gen for being bloated compared to the 9th gen and the “lobster claw” taillights. I personally love the efficiency, tech, and look of these and already see plenty of these on the streets.

Unpopular opinion - when saddled with a CVT (and Honda CVTs are actually not too bad), I kinda prefer their pushbutton shifter. I wonder if we'll get that when the Civic Hybrid makes its way over from across the pond?

I got this model in Urban Gray. All my friends have seen it in person, and they love it. I know others on here say the design is a step down from the old gen, so it’s up to the individual to make that choice on design preference. The interior has been my fav, and I really love the design. Everyone’s opinion is different, but I do like the old grill more. Can’t win with everything, but I win at the gas station still. This is an upgrade from my 20’ Altima SR premium that I traded in.

Just a reality check on the fuel economy. I don't know the details of your drive or how you drove it, but 50mpg is unusual. I have the '23 Touring model (19" wheels and tires) and in the 1000 miles I have put on it, I am currently at 42.5 mpg. That has been about a 50/50 split between freeway (70+) and city / suburban driving. I drive it pretty easy and usually in ECON mode. Other reports have even slightly less fuel economy than my experience. Camry hybrid would get better fuel economy, but until their '24 redesign comes out, it cannot match the driving experience, tech or comfort of this new Accord.

Wow, the graphics on the in-car screen with the different drive modes and with the accord model at 9:15 look amazing! Better than my 2018 Audi 😮

Man cant wait to see what toyota, mazda, kia, hyundai, and nissan will bring out. Because if this hits 50 mpg they are gonna be in Fierce competition

I saw the new Accord a few months ago at the Chicago Auto Show. I think it was summed up very well in this video: by itself, it looks really good! But parked next to another car, it's fairly dull. But the drivetrain seems very impressive! I'd definitely put it towards the top of my list if I were in the market.

My wife has a CR-V hybrid. That sound it makes, she said it's Angels singing. MPG's for her, the worst, going across South Dakota at 85 into a strong wind, A/C on, 23 mpg. In Yellowstone National Park, 49 mpg. Your milage will vary.

To me the front end of this accord reminds me of the early 90s Honda accords

If you want a better ride you gotta go with a model that doesn't have 19" wheels... Also, for $33k youre getting some of the best features available in this price class. ALL manufacturers are cutting corners and upping prices unfortunately.
