A4 350gsm cold pressed watercolour paper (sea white of Brighton)
Pointed Wash (Daler Rowney Aquafina)

Thank you for showing this medium in this style. I’ve really only seen it demo’ed before in broad strokes designs and more fantastical works, like cartooning. This is more my style, so this helps immensely!

Try using a misting spray instead of a brush to see if you like the effect

Great video. That turned out fantastic. I bought some neocolor II last year but haven’t played around with them much. I didn’t like that the lines remained visible after wetting them. But I see that I was looking at that quality in the wrong way. But I am in agreement with you as to the milky quality of some.Your video has me wanting to get them out and give them another go. Thanks

I have a few neocolor2 crayons that I never use so I drew along with you. It was a fun process that I really enjoyed but agree that the waxiness of some of crayons can be a bit unappealing. I also didn't use watercolor paper, just drew in my Canson sketchbook. 😊 Thank you for the reference and guidance.
