My daughter just bought me this knife. It's amazing. This piece is serious business. I can't believe I've never owned a bowie in 30 years of collecting knives. It took my 18 year old kid to make it happen. LOL This version from Cold Steel does not disappoint. I love the grippy handle, heft and overall size. It rips through every task with ease and maintains that edge. Super impressed 👏

Got my Marauder for Father's day. Awesome! I carried a Standard styled U.S. Marine Corp Kabar my 8 years in the Army Military Police- we were "Combat MPs" not much Garrison duty. That Kabar was a work horse. When I got my Marauder I retired the Kabar, although I still have 2 of them. The Marauder is my field knife, coupled to my Glock, I'm set for action!

I bought both versions of this blade. I love each of them. Might be illegal to carry in my state, but I can still use them camping and crafting.

Love the big ass knives. I still carry my Espada XL on me all the time, though not at work if I'm wearing certain pants. The Aus-10A has performed very well for the tasks I do with it, like chopping shrubbery etc. I'm sure this would do fine for that task, even in aus 8!
