Does 2 Peter 3:9 teach that God wants every human to be saved? Many say it does, hence those people are called universalists, or perhaps postmillennialists. Many say it does not, hence they are reformed protestants who understand grace. The third and most popular group today, non-reformed non-universalists, have the most appalling interpretation of this verse - that God is trying to save everyone, but He can't.

2 Peter 2:1 says the false teachers deny the Master who bought them, does it mean Jesus also died for these false teachers who are denying Him and preaching a false gospel? If so then doesn't that mean Jesus died for every single human being?
