Man, awesome job 👏🏼 thank you for taking the time to set all of those up and do a well articulated, thorough review/walkthrough. This video is a gold standard of how a YouTube walkthrough should be done.

This is what honest salesmanship looks like. He’s not even trying to sell us this product, he’s just explaining its benefits and how much he likes them. Thank you! I’m getting the 10x10 VX.

I just called competitive edge I just spoke to Charlie. He's very knowledgeable/helpful. I'm gonna buy the 10x14 super deluxe vx tent. And with me disabled I have a umbrella of MS hard to walk to a point. But Charlie helped and answered all my questions thank you Charlie

Nice review. Thanks. I can say these tents hold up well, I managed a very rural campground in Oregon and lived in mine 3 years. Rain, (lots) Snow, (lots) Gusty winds? No problem. The county asked me to manage a camp right on the coast for a few months. Went through a 50 mph wind with gusts to 70 mph. No problem. Near the 3rd year I did have one small leak from the roof. A good spray with silicone took care of it. I had the basic model 10x10, just me and my faithful lab. Plenty of room. This ten was very comfortable, hot or cold weather. Now as to setup - - these tents are pretty heavy (at least for me at 65 and only 5'6" yet I was still able to do it myself. 2 folks? Piece of pie (I don't care for cake all that much) I honestly can't praise the tents enough. I donated it to the county who still uses it for emergencies. 73 now, just me and dog. Thinking about the 2 person. Looks awesome. Once again that's for a great review. 1 thing "season" the tent as per instructions, don't over wet! Light sprinkle. I did it about 3 times before "moving in"

Well done enough to make me purchase. If you guys will put this much effort into explaining the product you must have excellent customer service. I will update you after I receive my tent.

I've never camped before, have been shopping around for a tent and decided on getting a cheap two person for less than $80, as it would make sense, BUT off the strength of this video alone the 2 person 6086 has me sold! You're not touching the roof at 5'10" while sitting and you can see the quality of the material. Thank you for this!

Hi Charlie - have to say this video was perfect to really see the differences of the tents - you did an outstanding job! You deserve a raise - or at least a nice bonus!

September 6, 2014 My brother and I were camping in North east Oregon and we had an unexpected storm hit... I was rudely awoken at 3:50 am, to what I thought was a herd of elk ripping thru camp, but a short time after that, more clamor! I stuck my head out to find “thigh deep” snow...and the clamor was tents collapsing!! We had 5 in camp total! After I got my bearings, I shook my 10x10 Bowflex off, shoveled snow away from the base and went about salvaging the other tents the best I could. Later in n the day my brother returned from satellite camp and we went about repairing tents...aside from our base tents, our two satellite tents collapsed as well, (his on him!!). Only my Bowflex survived by unscathed!! I’m a big fan of Kodiak Tents!! Tried and true!!😊👍

My 12 x 12 stove tent and awning withstood 45 mile winds with 65 gusts
Yes
I am sure my 10 x 14 flex bow would have done as well
Thank you for a great product

Great video. I really appreciate the detailed descriptions of all the features. I will probably buy from you just because of this video — you’re clearly a user of and expert on these tents.

We are impressed. Two seniors who went camping this year, who froze one night, were soaked out a couple of others and had a problem getting up and out during every night, now know what type of tent they need! Thank you!

Wow! This is the first time (ever) that I have watched a youtube video, gone to the site that authored it, and spent event 1$. Will be ordering my Kodiak FlexBow (from your site!) today! Called in yesterday and was impressed by the quality of the phone assistance, he clearly knows his product lines and has personal experience with the product line. My wife would love the Cabin tent, but she felt that the setup time isn't really an option when we're juggling a 6mo old (why we are car camping instead of backpacking for the next year or so!).

Bought my Kodiak 8X12 cabin tent from Competitive Edge. Nothing but positives to say they stand behind you for quality and customer support.
As i recieved my tent, i noticed fatigue of shipment box, opened to find some small damage which likely resulted from shipping. I sent an email and pic of the damage, and they were quick to respond and sent me a new part to replace damaged piece.
I definitely rate this kind of business service a 5 star+!
My son now looking to buy one since out of tbe marine corps. He is in awe of the Kodiak tents.
Thank you again, Compeyitive Edge!

Fantastic Presentation and review of these tents. You, Charlie, are a consummate pro and the epitome of tent sales in explaining every detail. I thank you and will surely but my new tent from you.

You do a very complete and sincere presentation. I’m sure you are as happy in your job as you are successful. You obviously are a really nice guy for your neighbors to let you do this video. Lol. Enjoyed it all and you made me want one even though I’m 76 and have never camped.

I have the 10x14 deluxe w/windows on all sides and double doors. It is so big inside its more like a room instead of a tent. I'm 6ft and love the fact that I only stoop a little going thru
the door. Never inside! The spring pole is a great system BUT the tent MUST be secured in order for the tent to work. The inside hanger pouches are ok, nothing great. The bigger of pouches works well on the outside of the tent using the loops provided. The mesh over the windows is excellent. Its very fine mesh, so fine in fact that if you are camping when its hot a light breeze wont come thru the screen mesh. Bring a portable fan. Never a drop of water has made its way into my tent. I have lived in this tent going on 1 1/2 years. I move to the mountains, lake, and lots of desert living. Notice I said living. Thats a big difference from a 3-5 day campout. I live in this tent full time. When you put your tent away be sure the floor is clean. The inside of the roof is white and when you collapse the tent for storage or to move to another site, all the floor dirt and dust is now on the bottom of the roof. When you set up make sure the doors are
zipped closed. Its okay to have the zippers down and windows half open (from when you put it away) to make it easier to put up. The suction is pretty strong when putting up the
spring poles. You"ll get used to it. The stakes for securing the tent are a joke. If you can get them in easy, good luck if the weather goes bad. I use a battery powered 1/4" drive impact wrench and drive 10" lag bolts with large cut washers to secure the tent. My tent has been in snow, hail storms, thunderstorms with 60 mph gusts and 40mph constant winds, monsoons(flash flood) and scorching heat(114°) and sub freezing weather. (18°). Only had 1 problem with the zipper on the awning side door and that may have been my fault. Not sure about that and I fixed it anyways. The
awning MUST be tipped down with any real amount of rain. It holds so much water that when you push up from the bottom to get rid of the 10 gallon puddle over head, you will get SOAKED from the splash. I have videos of how excellent this tent has performed in a thunderstorm with hail. The water ran under the tent so fast it floated my 100 lb dog! The day after I show the mud/sand line of how high the water got and not a drop of rainwater came inside. Unbelievable but true and video to back it up! See how I cured the anemic stakes and how well the tent performed.People are amazed that Im still in the same tent for more than a year after all the weather and sun its been thru. Its really that good and worth every penny. In very cold weather I use a Mr Heater Big Buddy. With a 5 gallon propane tank (outside the tent) it keeps the tent comfortable on low and will run for 220 hours. That works for me. I provide my own energy via solar power so I can watch TV, charge phones, lightsand run a radio. I pack in my water via reliance 7 gallon stackable water totes. Yes, I have videos on those too. None of my adventure would be possible without the the perfect base camp. The Kodiak Canvass 10x14 tent is the base camp for anyone in my opinion. Here is my disclaimer. I do not endorse any of the products mentioned in my comments for compensation. Its all true and oh, by the way, Im 60 years old and love the tent/camp/outdoor living life. Cheers and buy the 10x14!
