Sitting on the front step by the dirt road in the morning. It's dewfall hour and no one is awake yet. It turns its head up to look at you-right as the sun makes its debut above the tallest tree in the distance. In an instant, you realize exactly what you have to do. You're going to advocate for yourself. You're going to take more moments like this. You're going to be there like no one else can. In that moment, life clicks into focus. You understand that responsibility still exists, but whereas you have been biting more than you can chew, now, instead you're going to focus on the taste. You stand up and greet the day, stretch, and say goodbye to the little bluebird. "I've got this", you say as you walk in the screen door to take your life back.

Is that a HAKEN Continuum Fingerboard!!!!? I remember when it was shown like 20 years ago at NAMM or something. it blew my fuckin mind how the instrument works from the physical aspects and also how the creator manage to utilize the widely compatible "MIDI language", just in different ways/layers to basically create a "3 axis Z, Y, X, " Instrument. (putting it simply). Sadly, it was super expensive which is understandable so It seems like nothing happened over the years withit or the "IDEA" behind it. Then like 3 years ago, some hipster company out of nowhere came to market with pretty much the exact instrument claiming it was there "invention" and blah blah Blah. I have no dog in this race, but I was still a bit piseed off and protective about this beautiful creation.
