Can you simply “wrap” the mirror with the right color? Or replace the outside with the right color?

Bob, how do you remove just the plastic mirror covers? I want to repaint

I can pop off the colored peace on the broken mirror but it looks like I would have to detach the mirror itself to get to the new one switched out. Is there a way to do this??
