It’s funny how MMA works. All those years he was dominant, always rooted against him (because he destroyed some of my fav fighters). But these past few years I do nothing but root for him every time. Same with Weidman.

This man is truly one of the best fighters of any generation. The ability that he has to avoid punches with head movement wilhe also being able to check kicks is something otherworldly, and to think that the guy has been doing this since the WEC days with only improvements being made to his game.
When compared to all the goats, none of them is so defensive good as Aldo. While Anderson had the head movement, he didn't check kicks as frequently. Jones on the other hand, by just extending his arms, would make most guys miss, but he would still get hit by fighters his size.
With Aldo, if you were willing to let it flow in a techinical way, without pressuring him, very few people would've been able to match him, and even fewer could've beaten him.
