Depending on how you choose to see it, you could say that anarcho capitalism is a hirarchy-less society becuase private companies are always at the mercy of their customers. But yeah, you are right to a very large degree. It isn't really about social hierarchies, it is about voluntary interaction with different parts of society. A better name that is commonly used is voluntaryism.

Please use terms properly. Anarchy means without rulers, not without rules, nor without voluntary hierarchies.

I use to consider myself more of an ancap, but then I realized that it will still give those few a power over many. I also seen it gives people a system formed like government in the way of private enterprise. True anarchy is communities of peaceful people who get along in a volunteer state and respect and look out for one another. Ancaps would allow private military forces and big banks and money to run everything. A centralized government would turn into corporate interests and fraud.

You cannot prevent any group of humans from creating a heirarchy. Period.

"opposition to states is not what defines anarchism"

a : absence of government
b : a state of lawlessness or political disorder due to the absence of governmental authority

the city's descent into anarchy

c : a utopian society of individuals who enjoy complete freedom without government

from Greek anarkhia "lack of a leader, the state of people without a government" (in Athens, used of the Year of Thirty Tyrants, 404 B.C., when there was no archon), noun of state from anarkhos "rulerless, " from an- "without"

I'll just leave these here

but in anarchocapitalism, its voluntary hierarchy, you are not forced to work at all for anyone, but preferably you'd want money, so there is plenty of options out there, some of which you'd probably agree with

"Capitalism" in the word "Anarcho-capitalism" isn't american cap or Marx's cap, it uses Rothbard's capitalism definition - basically, the individual has the right to do whatever he wants with his property as long as he doesn't commit violence over pacific individues.

I disagree that capitalism is voluntary in name only. I wasn't forced or pressured to get a job by anyone, I got it because I wanted to, because there are benefits. I invested into my own knowledge learning how to do programming because I saw the potential market demand in an ever digitalizing society and I felt like I could provide good things that people want. This is how jobs are aquired and created and I fail to see which part of this is not voluntary. We are not entitled to an equally happy life and or other people's opinion of ourselves. Respect has to be earned, capital has to be earned, happiness must be pursued. Any form of intervention to try and change the outcome without changing peoples acts is not justified, it is coercive.

Even the capitalists must either earn their postition as capitalists.

Would be cool if we simply try anarcho-capitalism. This system allows for AnComs inside of it, because private property can be shared if there are a consensus between parties. Maybe they develop bunisses with horizontal hierarchy, and be efficient and atractive for the workers and the market.

But there is only one way to find that out.

You should also do a video of Libertarianism(as talked about by Joseph DeJacque, the first person to ever use the term libertarian for oneself as a political describer) versus Libertarianism(as portrayed by the "libertarian" party of the United States)

For all intents and purposes, libertarianism was originally synonymous with anarchism(as in the left-wing anarchism)

Hierarchy is a natural occurrence that will exist even without capitalism, the definition of anarchy says nothing about hierarchies.

Anarcho-Capitalism, however, would allow for maximum self-governance, because of the "freedom" of being able to own your own property at will. Which is something that all Anarchists fight for.

Given your definitions of anarcho-capitalism and anarcho-socialism... I don't think you could abolish capitalism without becoming your own state and enforcing your systems on others... I'm still looking for an explanation on how anarcho-socialists actually Abolish capitalism... not just build parallel solutions/communities <-- which would be a totally acceptable outcome, btw.

I'd say, removing hierarchical relationships is a trademark of anarcho-socialism, but where it is consensual and a person has options, Choosing a hierarchical solution is still a viable option in anarchism, as an umbrella term. Because, sometimes, that is the best choice for some people- whether you agree with their decisions or not... people make pragmatic decisions, complicated decisions, decisions that have trade-offs based on what they value... not what you value. I have ancap friends making very socialistic choices, and an-soc making very capitalistic choices, and even dem-soc friends making very very capitalistic choices... because in one given situation one 'system' is a better solution than the other.

Where a business transaction is not forced on you, and the barriers to entry in the industry are low due to a removal of protectionist economics by the state, and the borders to a community porous so people may come and go, where there are more dispute resolution and less private police, where ownership is defined by the mixing of labor and thus there is a significant amounts of abandoned property to squat ... I think you can start to see a genuine an-cap community take shape that is not nearly as hierarchical as an an-soc's worst nightmares.

they arent forced to work for those companies. so it is voluntary. saying they wouldnt be given food isnt oppression.

Owning property is dynamic. The ones that have to work for their money, can also buy property. By creating any products or services that benefit the society you can be in that position of wealth. Everything is earned by social cooperation, so stating that as an oppresive situation is just a fallacy

So how are you going to get rid of capitalism? By force? That's very statist of you.

Anarcho Capitalism is very different from the other forms of anarchy but it is the only system that is attractive to me. If you are a liberal and consisten you become a libertarian and if you are even more consistent you become anarcho capitalist.

Just saying that anarcho-capitalism is compatible with left wing anarchism as a subset, as long as its participants have voluntarily chosen it. The opposite, however, is not true.
