Sweden is one of the most, if not the most secularized countries in the world. The amount of religious ethnic swedes is very low. Thats why Pewdiepie being an atheist is easily predicted. If he was religious the chance of him being a buddhist would actually be higher IMO because of his connection to Japan. Converting to christianity whislt being raised in your avarage swedish household is rare. Most look for religion outside of the norm in those cases.

don't live in japan but Buddhism is not forced in Japan, main religion there is Shintoism, as a Buddhist i can confirm
