It's finally here! Keter 1, 2 and 3 from Library of Ruina. It was definitely one of those where I had done a lot of it a couple of weeks ago but I lost my Malkuth mojo in a way. But this week I just entered a flow and did the rest of it. It was nice seeing it all come together in the end.
I knew right from the start that I wanted to include the Roland Realization theme in this arrangement. You should probably come to expect it from me at this point. It's VERY normal in an EF arrangement to have a slower piano solo section followed by a build up to the climax of the piece. I changed the key of Roland to match the key of this arrangement and then used it as a way of transitioning Keter 1 and Keter 2. A bit of a change of pace just before the more intense final section.
Keter 1: I wanted to emphasise the melody by sharing it amongst multiple instruments
Keter 2: Fun piano runs were kept from the original. It took A LOT of detailed listening to the original
Keter 3: It's crazy! There's a lot of smaller details. It feels like every instrument has a solo, even the glockenspiel! Genuinely everything I did on the glockenspiel was one take.
Instruments: Piano, electric piano, synths, electric guitar, bass guitar, saxophone, tambourine, shaker, various sample libraries.
