🤓What do you think of the weeded meadow vibe in the yard? I kind of like how wild it is!

The cute little white flowers are bulbs called snow drops, you have a lot of what would be considered weeds, the yellow little flowers carpeting everything is oxalis, they have bulbs and yes the orange flowers are weeds but at least they are easy to thin out. Mint can also be invasive so keep them in a pot. The canvas on your butterfly chairs will likely clean up if you spray a bleach on them. All your cactus are struggling because of the rain, if you could concentrate them in a part of the garden that is hot and dry would be good. The garden certainly is a big and ongoing task.

Your backyard is so, so cool. It's enormous too! Loved the tour, thanks.

You’re so innovative, and it looks great. btw The two ends tables are IKEA, there are so many ways people have hacked them, placing wood rounds on the bottom or round baskets. Enjoy your new space!

The cute little white flower just before 12:41 looks like it might be lily of the valley

Good luck with your garden. It has tons of potential and you are definitely someone who has lots of great ideas.

The yellow clover is oxalis. The purple daisy is gazania. The strappy leaves that bloom look like day lilies. The blue flowers are vineca or periwinkle. The bushes with the pretty pink flowers are camellias. The bush with purple blue flowers is ceanothus aka California lilac. Nasturtium tastes kind of peppery and hot. It might be an acquired taste, but I love nibbling the flowers and leaves as I wander thru the garden. You can also eat the seed pods. Seed pods can be pickled as a caper substitute.

The yellow wildflowers are zinnias. The "radishes" are wild radish, yes edible when harvested young. Wild radish flowers can be used in salads to add a radish taste.

Be careful about "fertilizing non-stop" because some plants don't actually like a lot of fertilizer. Over fertilization can cause certain plants to become leggy and can burn others. Having said that, oranges will get sweeter if fertilized with a citrus fertilizer.

I encourage you to get a standard bird bath bowl. Small birds can drown in deep water so either put some flat rocks in the bottom so they can have a place to perch while drinking or splashing. Better yet, try to find a wide shallow bowl like a pasta bowl for bird safety.

Yes, paint it turquoise ❤ and if you dont want the Ivy, youll have to dig it all up. Its pretty and has its uses but I dont like it climbing on my house or fences

The bush with the pink flowers that make a mess is a camellia. We love them in NC because they are about the only bush/tree that flowers in the winter. Some people (my mother) call it a japonica bush. Nobody around here worries about the shedding petals, but if they bother you, just blow them away with a leaf blower. I wouldn't get rid of the canvas chairs. I would get me some WD-40 at the hardware store and start working on those joints. $85 sounds about right for new chair covers, especially if they are made out of a "Sunbrella" type fabric. And, lastly, get them out of the sun and weather----they would be so perfect on your breezeway/porch. Mow a pathway through those invasive plants (which includes the yellow-flowered clover) and edge them with flexible garden edging and then keep the path raked. The bird bath is great----I think you need a bird house---maybe right in the middle of those invasive plants---put the birds to work on those seeds ☺

Love the wild vibe. I like your bird bath better than Lowes. I am ordering the bird bath fountain. I ordered and received the battery light bulbs as you suggested
Love them. You have the best ideas! Keep em comin!

The wall has a very clear horizontal division. Why not paint the bottom blue (for a cohesive yard) and paint the top white (to enhance the light). The pretty little purply blue flowers are vinca, a ground cover. Vinca minor rarely gets above 3" to 4" tall, so my guess is you have a stray patch of Vinca major (which is about 15" to 18" tall. Lovely work - lovely aesthetic, although I would cut back on the oxalis - the little yellow flowered ground cover. It can be quite invasive and will choke everything else out (think of it as ivy's better-looking cousin).

A suggestion I have seen on several yard makeovers painting the fence black it looks so expensive and great back drop for the plants If I still had a backyard that's what I want

Looks great! Definitely put the mint in a pot or your whole yard will be mint! We learned this the hard way 😅

Great back yard. I'm a flower gardener, I find it very relaxing.
A couple of suggestions. I don't think roses do well in pots and maybe some of the other trees, like shrubs.

I love wild gardens, when they’re also well kept.

I think the fence should be turquoise!

I have the same little fountain but I wouldn't buy a bird bath for it because it's too shallow and it hits the edges and stops the deep bowl is so much better and it stays a lot cleaner, I love your yard that's my dream yard.
