Guys, if you think you like someone and you know they like you back just confess to them yourself pls. I'm saying this cause of an incident. So I was in grade 8, there was a girl I saw in that class and I fell in love with her. She didn't loved me at first but slowly she started to love me as well. We both used to sit at different seats in class but we never felt like that. I'm sure she loved me because we used to stare at each other like half of the time. I know it might sound creepy for some people but it really isn't. It was like when she first looked at me I looked away. 2nd time when I try to look at her right after 2-3 seconds she looked at me back and I looked away again. It happened a few times but at the end I decided to not look away when she looks at me and I did. She didn't moved her sight away. The funny part is that she was so insterested in me when I asked 'What?' by raising my eyebrows she just copied me and looked away. I was sure she loved me and I still don't know why I didn't confess.So, it was the last day of school and a bit snow was there on road. Our bus driver drove the bus really carefully as the road wasn't in good condition. When I reached school I decided I'll confess to her. I couldn't say it in front of her so I wrote it in paper. I remember the exact lines. I said "Hi, I love you a lot. I know you love me too I think it's time I confess my feelings. Do you love me?". I gave it to her in last period and told her to read it in her bus not here. She looked extremely happy and just said 'Thanks I was waiting for it for so long'. It was like she knew what was written. When she went into that bus and she read it in her bus only when the bus was still parked in school and was about to leave. She asked the driver that she forgot to refill her water bottle so she'll go and she came to my bus saying "I do feel the same way, I love you too" to me from outside my bus window. I asked her to talk to me on phone and I was really happy. It was the happiest day of my life or that's what I thought. I hope she never went in that bus. Before that bus could drop her at her house it got into an accident due to snow. It's been almost 3 years since then and I still miss her. I just wish I could've reversed time and asked her to read it earlier and not in that bus. I still am not in any relationship since then. I was really depressed when I heard about her bus. I felt like giving up my life but then I thought of my parents and just cried for almost an year. I hope she loves me too and wherever she is I just wanted to say her in person that I love her and not through letter cause I never said I love you too to her in person, just sent a letter. So, guys it's my humble request to pls confess to someone if you really love them and you think they love you back. My parents changed my school after that cause they didn't want to see me depressed. I literally had to go to doctor for 6 months to cure my depression. Sorry if I wrote it wayy too long.

It may not always be the fear of rejection. For me it was depression, always feeling inadequate, and straight up hating myself. It finally took her blatantly saying how she felt about me for me to realize how senseless my insecurities were. She makes me want to be a better me for her, to be someone that she deserves. EDIT: I am so proud to say that I’ve decided to shove my fear aside and tell my crush I like her. She ended up liking me too and now were a thing! Just wanted to tell everyone that was in the same bubble as me, just pop it. It’s a one time opportunity and worth shooting too. Even if she / he says no, it’s always good to think that you found courage to say your feelings! Hope you guys find your partners. It took 8 months for me!

I think once you get rejected a few times, it hurts less and less. I've never been rejected until I got older. Yes, it stung, but it made me reflect on myself. I realized that there was nothing wrong with me and that the person just simply wasn't for me. I've made changes so that I can be happy on my own and I've learned to not rely on others for happiness. That gave me confidence, and I attracted more people because of it. If you feel this way about yourself, maybe it is time to make some changes in your life.
