You may have mentioned this and I missed it, but it's also available for the iPad. Helpful for me because I use my iPad as a 2nd angle when doing talking head shots.

It seems to be missing the macro mode from the default camera app. You can get close focus using the 13mm lens, but it won't switch for you.

It's decent, and free as you mentioned, and very basic compared to the Blackmagic Camera, but I think that's what they're going for: a very unintimidating interface.

Doesn't seem to work with my DJI Osmo Mobile 6. The record button doesn't function.

Seems like Apple has concentrated on controls that could be changed easily from the iPad at the expense of more creative controls. I’m sure it’s great for multi-cam talking heads but sadly it’s a pretty bare bones camera app. It doesn’t address add on anamorphic lens de-squeeze or have a display LUT or a histogram to help finesse LOG exposure… good thing it’s free.

They are missing a rec709 preview when you are recording in log. Almost all cameras come with some type of regular recording preview when recording in log. It looks like a considerable amount of lag when changing settings too. Samsung has only had the same settings on their regular phone camera for like 5 years now. 😂 Iphone is so behind in tech features they really do need to catch up. The days of catering to 12 year olds and senior citizens is coming to an end hopefully. Iphone 15 promax is my first iPhone and I can honestly say I literally am counting down the days I get back to Samsung. Love the IPad Pro and my MacBook Pro, but their phones are tech software garbage.
