My galaxy fold 4 broke already after 5 months

Foldable phones have my attention, but I don't want one until they become more common. I love emulation and the square shape, when open, lends itself more to a 4:3 aspect ratio. The thing is they're a boutique product so they're expensive, and they short you on stuff like a headphone jack and expandable storage so they get you to spend $100 per storage and/or ram upgrade. Who wants to spend $100 to upgrade from 128gb to 256gb when a 256gb micro SD card can be had for $16. While it's true the built in storage is faster that would only really benefit apps. Most things that gobble up space don't need a ton of speed like photos, music, videos, or roms.

Is there a new foldable phone actually available in the US other than Samsung Folds? I am trying to switch from Samsung because they charge you all this money for their Foldable phones and when you have a problem, they put you through so much to get your phone replaced when it's no fault of your own! I'm done with Samsung, but I want a Foldable phone.

I'd rather tecno phantom fold for $1000 dollars. Best cheap foldable yet. Reviews look damn good.

I'm just not a fan of wider cover screens. The cover screen is supposed to be for quick interactions, but these Chinese phones are turning it into a full-size phone. As it is, my thumb JUST reaches the left edge of the cover screen when I hold my Fold4 folded; a wider phone would make it a two-handed affair. No thanks.
So the Fold4 has a better form factor, the S pen, better software, water resistance, better support...it's still the winner.
