That's because our European "R1b: ancestors moved north from spain along with the glaciers, and some others moved south into north africa and mixed with people there. It's not that you have anyone from north africa in your background, it's holdover from many thousands of years ago, just as someone with indian ancestry shares genes with someone in polynesia from thousands of years ago.

Most people who try to understand their DNA tests are looking at it from a very uneducated point of view. They expect these companies to provide 100% scientifically accurate information but fail to read the fine print. These companies base their results on the limited database of DNA samples their individual company possesses or has access to. The results are also "estimates". This means that there are technicians who are looking at your results, comparing them to other results, and making their own "professional" interpretation of the data. And the most important piece of information you have to factor in is whether or not the company you use is providing a n "AUTOSOMAL" DNA test, a "Mitochondrial" DNA test, or "Y-Chromosome" DNA test. They will all give you different results because the all look at different aspects of your DNA. So at the end of the day, when you compare different tests, are you looking at maternal lineage results, paternal lineage results, or a combined overview. If you don't know these very important details then you will likely be very confused by the different results.

These results are BS and change significantly based off their sample size
