Personally I prefer the original since while yes the remastered one does have updated graphics and more polish I think that OmNom looks better as a 2D character rather then 3D and some of these extra effects feel a bit unnecessary

They don't seem to know how to make 3D models at all. It hurts me to look at this Lick. Roto in Merge is nowhere more disgusting. It’s a pity that they won’t return to their roots and there won’t be new levels in the second part, but I really wanted to see new Nommies, in Merge they are somehow— soulless
