Meet neuro-ophthalmologist Nagham Al-Zubidi, M.D.

Nagham Al-Zubidi, M.D., is an associate professor in Head and Neck Surgery at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.

She is also a dual-trained ophthalmologist and board certified neurologist with a fellowship in neuro-ophthalmology from the Association of University Professors of Ophthalmology Fellowship Compliance Committee. Her research lies in ocular oncology and optic nerve disorders, specializing in optic nerve tumors, immunotherapy and checkpoint inhibitors.

Dr. Al-Zubidi has been recognized as a recipient of the Award Institute of International Scholar Rescue Fund, the Excellence in Patient Care Award from Al-Yarmuk Teaching Hospital and the Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence from the Institute of Laser for Postgraduate Studies.
