I love to see that there are classics like these racing old school, not just carved up into drag racers or running timed laps, but actually going bumper to bumper, shoulder to shoulder, first one cross the line wins style racing. Personally my favorite decade of American cars is about 10-20 years before these cars existed but love them all the same.

side note: #16's gold on red/red paintjob looks absolutely amazing.

My wife has a ‘63 Falcon and I have a ‘65 Mustang. When the boys were too young to drive legally we found a school with a huge circle in front and did this. Although much slower and let them drive. What a day!

Wonderful, proper cars, proper drivers, proper sounds, what car racing was about, sadly missed.

these cars are beautiful but also rare. However, if I had such a car, I would not use it for speed racing but I would pay more attention to it.

The Fords are pretty popular it seems in UK. Love that Galaxie! Ever get any Chevs at Goodwood? First gen Z’s or vettes?

63 and a 1/2 Ford Mustang vs a 1962 Ford Falcon... Nice tab 😏 Despite the fact the Falcon evolved into the Mustang '62-'63 🤷🏾‍♂️

Racing is rubbing but NOT with a classic 65-6 Mustang….ever!

I feel that a classic Mustang should never be trading paint because of its value. I’m not a Ford fan but I would love to have any 1965-1970 Mustang in my driveway just for the bragging rights.

This race would have been the perfect opportunity to put that guy with his high beams into the wall. You know that guy that thinks he owns the road and expects everyone to move over until he meets me.

Is this in the US or the UK? What are all these yank tanks doing over in the UK? We’ll gladly trade you Brits some Galaxie’s, Mustangs, and Falcon’s for some Mini’s, Jags, and Aston’s….:)
