New CPU installed error message on every boot

i am facing exactly the same issue. do u have any idea as to what could be the cause for this?i replaced the battery and then the computer worked fine for a few months but of late this problem has resurfaced again!

I was facing exact same issue did this:
Upgrade BIOS, Disable "Wait for F1 Error", Enable "Launch CSM Compatibility", did all those and it worked

hello, I have the same problem, just doing reset cmos and setting defaults, always writing.

Make sure u guys install bios on ur old cpu if not u just messed up ur whole pc

Having the same problem but with Ctrl Alt Del, the boot goes right. Did you use an big CPU cooler?

I'm having almost the same problem, but for me, its " New CPU installed" but its something with the ftpm... and it asks to Keep the Old FTPM or make New, if I keep the old it will appear again, I haven't tried out the make new yet, I'm afraid I'm gonna lose all my files... but it's annoying.

i didnt even get a message or anything when i updated my cpu and it says that its still the old cpu and not the new one.

Just restart it by doing ctrl alt del, it did work on mine
