I saw women (not girls) wear these barrel legs jeans way back in 2010's and they paired it with heels (stilettos, open toe stilettos) and they looked really cool. I loved them. And now it's back. Love it.

Barrel legs are tricky. They're either awesome or ridiculous depending on the cut and fit. I had to have mine tailored to get the right fit and they look amazing and so flattering. Always show the ankle and wear slim shoes.

So much hate, lol, I like them!! I got some lightweight Free People cargo pants with a button strap at the ankle so they can be worn wide leg or barrel style. I only tried them on out of curiosity because I like to play with silhouettes and they're my favorite pants!

😂😂I might be the only other person on the planet that likes barrel leg jeans! I have three pairs. I’ve had one pair for three years and the other two for two ish years. I do agree that they probably aren’t for everyone but I LOVE THEM!

Love barrel leg jeans! Nili Lotan are my favourite! I find it much easier to work out what is working with my outfit is too take a picture. Its easier to work out what you love and what needs changing!

I seriously love them so much. I have been DIYing them from old skinny jeans. My thing is the sock. I think you’re right about the proportions of the shoe, but I also think the proportion of the top makes a difference. You can’t wear something on top that comes down longer than where the flair of the jeans begins. Great tips!

I am really digging barrel jeans--the room in the seat and thighs is very comfortable for those of us who are hourglassy or pear-shaped. But I personally prefer them longer (so there's a soft break) and slimmer at the ankle than what is shown here.

I think the key is to have it full length. The ankle length makes the leg look weird.
