Maybe I can try this to convert my 3D animation into 2D animation, also using blender (making easier the 2D drawing process). Later should be nice to use colors from the original to autofill it with colors. This could be useful to combine with your previous video. Now I need some batch converter to get graphic vector images from that images.

This can turn cgi into drawings which can then be traced and create things like the Chika dance 10x easier and faster. Really useful for roto animation.

I can see this method making it easier for individual animators if they want to do something with the original animation without the hassle of having to color all their edits in. Something like re-animating a scene with another character or finally give saitama his hair. Perhaps it could be used for animation class assignments where the student could pick their own animation to color in. It could also be used for montages like you said but it would be easier to quickly string a bunch of scenes together without it being jarring because of all the drastic color changes

Perhaps you can use this for images or logos where you only have access to the raster image. You can extract the outlines then easily convert those into a vector image file and color it yourself. I know programs like illustrator already do this but this way you get a much more controlled result.
