SNOW LEOPARD DAY 2014 Voutsikaki mt, Agrafa - Greece

Τhe Greek ski mountaineering community hosted for the second year in a row, the Snow Leopard Day, a unique event of great interest for this particular athletic activity but also with the special purpose of protecting one of the rarest mammals threatened by extinction, the snow leopard.
The event was organised by Dynafit and Klaoudatos Ski and took place on 15-16 February 2014 at Plastiras Lake area and the surrounding Pindos mountains, with meeting point the mountain refuge of Agrafa. Ski mountaineers of all levels had the chance to ascent to various peaks, such as Templa 1804m and Voutsikaki 2152m, with a vast choice of descents in great weather conditions.
The vertical meters covered by the 133 participants were totally 168.150m!
