RHCP played this live in the Josh era, 2-3 times IIRC, for a fan named Maggie who had terminal cancer, who requested to josh as her "dying wish" and then josh spontaneously brought it to the band and they all agreed. It was a last minute decision and they delivered. King move.

I see a lot of people bashing Josh on the dosed live video for being "not good enough" Without knowing the story behind it, it was a last minute decision with very minimum rehearsal. Dude's an angel.

Dosed is a magical song and a good one to practice playing with a looper. I wonder how would you play the chorus? Open chords or barred chords? I personally used barred chords, an octave higher (e.g. G as 10-12-12-12) and adding extra notes for the voicing.
