My new tesla Y powering 12 V outlet all the time even when the car is off. And the radar stays on the whole night. Is there a way to control 12V outlet and power it off when the car is off?

So does it drain a lot of battery when it stays on for 20 minutes after the car powers off?

I stick a small square clear reusable plastic film on the windshield and then apply 3M double sided tape on it to secure the mount.

Nooo, not on mine. Mine looks a bit different than yours. I have 2023 mdl Y and it comes to a point more than yours I think. I snugged it up till I heard plastic starting to crack. I put the detector on and started adjusting and it just dropped. I tried again and snugged it down a bit more but not much. Not worth cracking the plastic. But the kit is an excellent kit. Much better quality than I was expecting.

After I ordered this radar mount I realized it doesn't work in my 2023 model 3. The rear view mirror cover trim of my Tesla is different that the one on this video
