My chicken is out in the yard being courted by a very confused mourning dove, which I thought was a pigeon for a good while. He puffs himself up and bumps against her chest until she pecks him. Then he deflates and wanders off. Followed by his equally confused and somewhat dejected mourning dove girlfriend.
