Why the Mood Guitar?

Ok ok. We wrapped up a 2nd MOOD guitar raffle and will be launching the 3rd and FINAL tomorrow. Since the beginning of this MOOD guitar experiment, the most common question we've gotten is simply "Why?" So this is us attempting to explain that. And I know this video is very *earnest* with some close-mic narration by me and some super emotional heavy ambient guitar from Andy Othling (a song from an unreleased batch of songs from a few years ago featuring only MOOD that I'm twisting his arm to try and put out), but it is all the truth. Haven't seen much from Bilt recently! Their guitars are amazing! A gold foil Zaftig captured my heart several years ago, but the onboard effects are revolutionary and what make them shine. Would love to see more like this!! (Bliss Factory comes to mind!) 💻🧠❤📟

Congrats on selling 10k Moods. It's very high on my want list! :D This clip has me thinking about getting a bass with a pedal build into it. Something like Mood would be perfect for some ambient interludes, when playing live.

Anybody know the supposed advantages of having a built-in mood over using the pedal, other than not having to flip a separate power switch?

Make the generation loss a normal pedal if you actually care about your customers. You absorbed and destroyed Cooper FX and then made the generation loss a limited edition? Should be considered a crime. And release the condor again, the average customer isn't going to buy an 800 dollar preamp because the fanch knobs move by themselves.
