Do you get the feeling the narrator is leaving out a lot of necessary info.

A friend of mine did this job for several years, he’s now registered disabled with chronic back pain!
So it’s a PASS from me!

I used to do this job...it's minimum wage. He's also not telling you that in the summer it's 120F inside that bin, that your knees are on fire after a shift, and when it rains your wet and hot. If you don't pack it right, the load can shift in flight, change the center of balance of the aircraft and potentially make it crash.

Trust me, it isn’t so simple…. I.e. Cramped, awkward positions, muggy hot or cold spaces, pressure on knees and back, all for $14 per hour!

He is destroying his knees and his back, I know I did the same thing for almost 10 years

You have to be incredibly strong to do this. It is lifting heavy weights non-stop with no rest time. I would be burnt out after one hour.

This looks like a very difficult back breaking work. My back hurts just watching this. You must be super young 😂

I used to work as a ramp agent thats what he is and we didn't have that conveyor belt we manually had to bring the bags in there and only got paid $900 every two weeks but after tax it was like 800 or 700

I searched it, usually the most you make a year is 48, 000. Depends on skill, career length, etc

It is nowhere near that simple. I worked in that industry. When a plane lands during operations hours there is about a 45-60 minute window to offload, service and reload the flight. In some cases baggage comes from gates completely across the airport from the gate you're working and you may only have minutes to get it loaded. Also there are times... live animals, Human Remains... that the job does not pay enough. As for environmental issues.. it's freezing cold in the winter and boiling hot in the summer. You also have to be aware of the dangers of the flight line (moving aircraft and vehicles, propeller wash and Jet blast, being aware of intakes to jets, etc.etc..) it's also a very skilled job because the storage effects the COG (Center of Gravity) of the plane, if you misload anything it could cause a catastrophic series of events that could crash the plane.

Not for everyone, that's back breaking. Back issues in the future.

I worked on the ramp for a major airline long ago .It was very common for guys of all ages to have 2 or 3 hernia operations.... Lots of wear and tear on the body after years of moving luggage.

God bless this airport worker. Unfortunately, travelers complain constantly and forget their manners including thank you and please in airports the majority of the time. 😊🎉❤

$3000 a month is nothing compared to the potential future health, especially back and arm pains of loading such heavy bags.
