You are aware it was Rashad that accepted the fight? Not Jones. As a champion you face who's the best - Rashad didn't have to accept the fight if he valued the friendship. He says "Ohh Jon said he'd fight me", what he said was I would if Dana told me too - he wouldn't lose his job over not fighting the best. This would never have happened if Rashad didn't want it too.

No they wouldn't - they'd understand they're team mates and don't want to fight. Rashad even said he'd drop to 185. For some reason that failed because Rashad felt hurt when Jon said something so small and meaningless and it was something anybody would've said. The friendship was over when Rashad walked into that cage after the Shogun fight.

Not Rashad, Jones, you said Jones went to shake his hand and he didn't. Jones was turning for another photo and Rashad knew the photo part was done so he walked away. Jones did not reach out to shake a hand at all.

They used to train together before. Both saying they'd never fight each other. When Jones got the belt, he somewhat said that yeah he'd fight Rashad. Rashad took it personal, left the Jackson camp, went elsewhere to train and now Greg Jackson is helping Jones fight his former student - Rashad.

The height discrepancy is ridiculous. Assuming their shoes have similar soles, that's a 4-5 inch difference clearly.

A lot of people think Jones is arrogant by thinking so highly of himself, but all he's doing is thinking like a champion. He's being mentally prepared and that makes him come across as arrogant and cocky but it's all apart of his strategy to be mentally ready for Rashad, when Jones keeps saying he's the best and the greatest, he's trying to have that champion mindset instead of second guessing himself.
