As someone who said for years they would quit after pulling an LD5, I uhh... didn't quit. Took me 8 years and some change of daily play (with three instances of month-long breaks in that time) to finally get one: Kovarci. So I kept playing for a little bit, to try him/her out (still no clue what gender the Puppeteers are lol) and I had some fun. And then when I was about to stop playing *again*, I started editing for you. God damnit 😂

I don‘t think a free ld5 would be overtuned. Most people start & quit this game without a non-hoh ld4, the majority won‘t ever experience a ld5.

10 year scrolls for me would be the most disappointing event for me, because itll immediately divide all players into 1 of 2 categories,
A: those who get an ld5 and are super psyched and happy
B: those who dont get an ld5 who are now super salty and very mad at com2us as they watch so many people pull ld5s and sometimes muliple ld5s from the 10year scrolls

my best guess, and from my perspective the most realistic of options, is that it's going to be a 10yASS (yes, you read that right, the acronym for Anniversary Special Scrolls, is ASS) event, where we likely just get a number of these scrolls.
Which frankly I suspect is what was planned from the beginning because of how lackluster the scrolls were in their release event (and still are).

This is spoken like someone who has lots of LD5's - as someone who has 2 after 5 years, absolutely any LD5 would be huge!

Its crazy they are worried about people quitting after getting an LD5. Ive been playin for 8 years and havent pulled one across multiple accounts. The odds are just to low. Its to the point where im likely to quit due to the fact i havent pulled one. I mean think about it they have over 100 different LD5 and most people dont have even 1. Its just doesnt make sense. At this rate they will kill the game because everyone is getting tired of grinding for no reward and when you do get a “reward” its a dupe 5 star.

i think they will lose a LOT of players if the last event isnt an LD5 event, never mind losing players if they give a crap LD5.
Ld4's have lost most of the appeal these days. normal nat5's feel like everyone has them and you get no excitement from pulling one..
Ld5's are the last bastion, too rare for most of us to pull more than 1 or 2 in our 10 yrs of playing.. so rare in-fact that the chase isnt even a thing..

If you reward people with something really good, it will incentivize them to spend more money, which is one way to support doing an LD5 event on an economic level. Like how drug dealers give you the first hit for free.

Honestly a guaranteed random LD 5 would probably be their best option after the last two lackluster events. This is supposed to be a celebration! A way to give back and show appreciation to the players for the game lasting 10 years!!!! 🎉

I have 3 predictions
1.) free any LD nat 5 same concept as the 1st event
2.) collect a crap ton of coins to collect the very first LD transcendent scroll with a free LD blessing
3.) we get to pick any previous event to participate again from the 10 year

I think we‘ll get an ld blessing and a bunch of ld scrolls, maybe ld4 choose event too. Players will spend money to pop that blessing or play years to try to pop it.
